I came across my first Mia months ago & fell in love with the in-hand delight that is the sculpted, almost magical ergonomic feel the pen has when you hold it. One of the appeals to Montegrappa is the single, metal, threading they use, which has a nice feel whether you write holding the section OR threading. Longer sessions will have me holding the threading & I find that the Mia series has a very nice curved step from threading to barrel which isn't found on any other pen in my large collection. The ability to draw your fingers back for down strokes is facilitated by this subtle, but effective aesthetic design & makes longer writing sessions a pleasure. I spend my day as a clinician/technologist, on a computer but I do write nearly all day - the Mia is my daily writer. This limited edition is one of my favorite Mias as the colors are pleasant & entirely unique. The Red Brick has become my favorite Mia so far.
